We waited patiently for 2 years to start this girl, and boy she has not disappointed us! Growing up, we didn't do anything more with Baylee than teach her to lead, load, tie, clip, and stand for the farrier. We wanted her to have a blank slate for a purpose - to spend 3 days with her (less than 3 hours total) starting with groundwork and progressing to riding and have her w/t/c, flex and backup on her first ride. Baylee surpassed our expectations. She eased through the groundwork, never put up a fuss. Took right to riding on day 3 and never so much as hopped, hesitated, or got upset. And that is exactly what we were aiming for! |
